Winter Hill Skills with or without a camp.

A day and / or night on Dartmoor, we will be taking you through the compasswork, clothing, tents, sleeping system and  food needed to have a successful and comfortable weekend camping at any time of the year.

We really like winter camping and walking, no crowds and no flies to bother you. The long nights make for long chats over a glass of wine or a hot chocolate. The format depending on the weather is to go for a walk and chat then to the camp site before dark and put the tents up before walking to the pub for a cosy evening meal then back to the tents to sleep. The pub is optional as we can cook outside if possible but all is subject to the weather, so it’s best to come prepared for both eventualities.
